FEMA’s Integrated Public Alert & Warning System (IPAWS) is a web-based system that Federal, State, territorial, tribal and local authorities can use to issue critical public alerts and warnings.
Organizations with alerting authority are approved to use IPAWS. IPAWS is accessed through software that meets specific IPAWS system requirements – like Swift911™ and Rave Alert!
The Swift911™ and Rave Alert mass notifications for IPAWS allows you to amplify your emergency communication strategy and reach as many citizens as possible with critical updates, news, or alerts – without the need for opt-in.
